Company History

JK Recycling is one of Melbourne’s premiere independently owned and operated metal recycling firms. The company was established by Mr Jack Kelly in the 1960’s and has been servicing the needs of customers in Melbourne’s south east ever since. Initially operating from a truck, Jack would collect scrap metal from customers in metropolitan and regional Victoria. He acquired his first yard in Haughton Rd, South Oakleigh before later moving to our existing yard at 360 Huntingdale Rd, South Oakleigh in the 1970’s.

We provide an efficient and friendly service and pay top prices for all ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal. We can service the recycling needs of customers from small independent collectors through to large manufacturing operations. We have a reputation in the industry for reliability, integrity and service. From our site in South Oakleigh we are able to service clients throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
